Transaction Fees
All card transactions will incur a transaction fee of 1.7% + 30 cents. The transaction/ card fee we charge is non-refundable on cancellation
Campervan Hire Rewards
You will receive a $50 experience voucher for campervan bookings. A minimum spend of $350 applies to each experience voucher.
No cashback codes or any other promotional codes earned on a tour or experience booking or displayed and used for promotional material on tours or experiences, are valid on campervan or motorhome bookings, nor will you earn cashback for booking a campervan or motorhome.
The vouchers are valid 3 months from booking date.
Cancellation Terms
All cancellations will incur a $50 admin fee from Backpacker Deals / Travello.
All deposits are non-refundable, but will be returned as a store credit for Backpacker Deals/Travello if outside cancellation fee terms (less $50 admin fee)
Tour Operator Cancellation Terms:
Apollo, Cheapa & Hippie
β’ If cancelled 61+ days prior to pick-up - No fee
β’ If cancelled 60 to 22 days prior to pick-up - 10% of Total Rental
β’ If cancelled 21 to 7 days prior to pick-up - 20% of Total Rental
β’ If cancelled less 6 days or less prior to pick-up - 50% of Total Rental
β’ If cancelled on the day of pick-up or no show - 100% of Total Rental)
β’ There is no refund for late pick-up or early return of an RV
β’ All deposits are non-refundable, but will be returned as a store credit for Backpacker Deals/Travello if outside cancellation fee terms (less $50 admin fee)
Maui, Britz & Mighty
β’ If cancelled up to 61 days prior to pick up: No Fee
β’ If cancelled from 60 to 22 days prior to pick up: 10% of Gross Rental
β’ If cancelled from 21 to 7 days prior to pick up: 20% of Gross Rental
β’ If cancelled 6 to 1 days prior to pick up: 50% of Gross Rental
β’ If cancelled on day of pick up or No Show: 100% of Gross Rental
β’ If Vehicle is returned early: No refund available

β’ Cancellation more than 60 days prior to pick up: No fee applicable
β’ Cancellation from 60 to 30 days prior to pick up: AUD $100 fee will apply
β’ Cancellation from 29 to 14 days prior to pick up: AUD $350 fee will apply
β’ Cancellation from 13 to 1 days prior to pick up: AUD $500 fee or 50% of the Total Rental (whichever is greater) will apply
β’ Cancellation on the day of pick up or a No Show: 100% of the Total Rental will apply

Cruisin Motorhomes & Go Cheap Campervans
β’ If cancelled up to 29+ days prior to pickup. No Fee
β’ If cancelled 28 to 7 days prior to pick up 25% of total rental
β’ If cancelled 6 to 1 days prior to pickup β 50% of total rental
β’ If cancelled on the day of pickup or βNo Showβ β 100% of total rental

Spaceships Rentals
β’ 20% cancellation fee of total rental if cancelled 7+ days prior to the day of pick up
β’ 50% cancellation fee of total rental if cancelled 1-6 days prior to the day of pick up
β’ 100% cancellation fee if cancelled within 24 hours of pick up
β’ All deposits are non-refundable, but will be returned as a store credit for Backpacker Deals/Travello if outside cancellation fee terms (less $50 admin fee)
Camperman Australia
β’ If cancelled 30 days or more prior to the pick-up date: a fee of $200.
β’ If cancelled within 7-29 days of the pick-up date: 50% of the full Rental Charges.
β’ If cancelled 1-6 days prior to the pick-up date: 75% of the full Rental Charges.
β’ If cancelled on the day of pick-up or if you fail to notify us of your intended cancellation prior to the Start of the Rental and fail to pick up the Campervan: no refund is payable, and the full Rental Charges will be charged.
β’ All deposits are non-refundable, but will be returned as a store credit for Backpacker Deals/Travello if outside cancellation fee terms (less $50 admin fee)
Awesome Campers
β’ A fee of $250 paid is non-refundable, the following charges also apply:
β’ If Cancelled 14 to 0 day prior to pick up or no show: 100% of Total Rental
β’ If vehicle is returned early for any reason whatsoever: No refund available.
β’ All deposits are non-refundable, but will be returned as a store credit for Backpacker Deals/Travello if outside cancellation fee terms (less $50 admin fee)
Autosleepers
Cancellation fees apply if rental is cancelled:
β’ Over 30 days prior to pick up date: $200.00
β’ Within 7-29 days prior to pick up date: 50% of the full rental charges.
β’ Within 1-6 days prior to pick up date: 75% of the full rental charges.
β’ If cancelled on the day of pick-up or no-show: 100 % of the full rental charges.
β’ All deposits are non-refundable, but will be returned as a store credit for Backpacker Deals/Travello if outside cancellation fee terms (less $50 admin fee)
Travellers Autobarn
β’ Until 14 days before pick-up, no cancellation fee applies:
β’ $200 β within 14 days of pick-up
β’ 50% β within 7 days of pick-up
β’ 100% β same day or no show cancellation
β’ All deposits are non-refundable, but will be returned as a store credit for Backpacker Deals/Travello if outside cancellation fee terms (less $50 admin fee)
Jucy & Star RV
β’ If the booking is cancelled 22 days (or more) before the pickup date, no fees (not including any credit card administration fee).
β’ If the booking is cancelled between 1 β 21 days before the pickup date, 20% of the booking value is chargeable as a cancellation fee (not including any credit card administration fee).
β’ If the booking is cancelled within 24 hours of departure or the hirer does not collect the vehicle from the JUCY branch, then 100% of the booking value is chargeable.
β’ If you change the pick-up date within the cancellation time frames in (i) and (ii) above and then you cancel the amended booking; original cancellation fee will apply.
β’ All deposits are non-refundable, but will be returned as a store credit for Backpacker Deals/Travello if outside cancellation fee terms (less $50 admin fee)
Wicked Campers
- 61+ days - No fee to cancel
- 60 days to 22 days out - 10% / min $150 cancellation fee
- 21 days to 7 days out - 20% / min $250 cancellation fee
- 6 days to 1 day out - 50% / min $400 cancellation fee
- On the day of pick up: 100% of the booking amount to cancel
- All deposits are non-refundable, but will be returned as a store credit for Backpacker Deals/Travello if outside cancellation fee terms (less $50 admin fee)
Campervan Village
β’ If cancelled up to 61 days prior to pick up: the reservation will be cancelled free of charge, no fee applies from Campervan Village.
β’ If cancelled from 60 to 22 days prior to pick up: a 10% fee applies with a minimum fee of $150.
β’ If cancelled from 21 to 7 days prior to pick up: a 20% fee applies with a minimum fee of $250. β’ If cancelled 6 to 1 days prior to pick up: a 50% feeapplies with a minimum fee of $400.
β’ If cancelled on day of pick up or No Show: 100% fee applies, no refund. The customer may be able to move the pick up date, an admin fee of $150 applies to do so.
β’ Please note we do not offer a refund or credit if a Vehicle is picked up late or returned early.
β’ The Cancellation fee period is based on Australian Eastern Standard time

Adventure Rentals
- Cancelled 90 β 60 days prior to pick up date a fee of 20% of confirmed price of the rental.
- Cancelled 30 β 59 days prior to pick up date a fee of 50% of confirmed price of the rental.
- Cancelled 29 β 2 days prior to pick up date a fee of 90% of confirmed price of rental.
- Cancelled 1 day or No Show 100% of confirmed rental price.
- All deposits are non-refundable, but will be returned as a store credit for Backpacker Deals/Travello if outside cancellation fee terms (less $50 admin fee)
"On Request" Booking & Payment Conditions
By completing an "on request" booking, you accept that payment and confirmation of the vehicle will be completed upon confirmation of availability from the vehicle supplier. You also accept that "on request" bookings adhere to the cancellation conditions outlined above.
